I have several PC that failed the restore Ghost process and now they're just polling the Ghost server's IP in DOS. What was the command used to exit this mode so I can boot back to WinXP?

Well, what to do depends on why the restore process failed; if the restore failed then there may well not be a valid WinXP installation to return to. That's why by default it waits for the console to supply it with instructions.

However, if you're confident the main OS exists and is still valid then you can use Control-X to exist the DOS client and then "ghreboot" to try enabling the original host OS (ghreboot is an alias for "ngctdos -hide").
