Can someone explain to me why all of my computers state "Endpoint Protection 21.1 Inbuilt Never Expires" when checking the .slf for the license expiration date? I am running windows 7 on all pc's and Symantec is running the latest virus definitions (so it appears to be updating) and doesnt seem to have any problems reported. How do I know whether (or when) I need to update my Symantec licenses? Am I fully protected? I am running Endpoint on all computers as unmanager clients.

If you are running SEP SBE then updates will stop. If running SEP Enterprise, you will continue to receive updates.

Did you license the unmanaged clients? See here:

I am assuming I didn't license the unmanaged clients as that link was all news to me. I purchased 20-25 licenses from a third party vendor a while back. I have since puchased 10-15 new computers here and there and just purchased individual licenses from the Symantec website.
