Our endpoint protection was allowed to expire by our administrator.  There appeared to be no problems with this to our individuals on the network other than an increase in viruses on our system.  How would you be able to monitor this if you did not have supervisor access and what types of problems would you see?  When viruses occured this same administrator purportedly cleaned the machines.  How could this be done with an expired liscense.

SEP 11.0 does not require any license, it quite possible that you have installed trial ware and it expired, other than that there is no other license.

wrt to virus issues , SEP should have latest virus definitions,if the clients  have internet access , you can go to start-run and type luall.exe, and run a full scan.

if you want to do a manual analysis of what programs are loaded u can try this document
