AVG has been a great antivirus for protection, but now I'm really starting to doubt it's detection in computer files. In the past three days I've been attacked by 5 Exploit Rogue Scanners, all around type 1900 (the most recent was type 1908), and when I try to scan the computer for any rootkits or viruses (all the detections were redirects, not the actual site I tried going to, which AVG says are all safe) it says that it's clean. Whenever the error message comes up it tells me a type of scanner to look up, and when I look it up it's not found in the entire database. What should I do and What does it mean?

    Windows XP...

I would suggest you move to Norton Internet Security or Norton 360 for your AV needs.

BTW, this forum is for Symantec product support. : )
