Explorer freezes when entering a folder with SEP extracted packages
Updated: 21 May 2010 | 4 comments
Not a very big issue, but this is strange. I have 3 different SEP installation packages extracted in one folder (single EXE). Every first time after system boot i open that folder in XP, it takes a minute or more to draw the icons of those packages and until that Explorer is nearly unresponsive and i have to sit and wait. This happens also on a PC without any antivirus software, so it's not SEP scanning these packages. Really weird. Maybe they are packaged in some unusual way.
