  • 1.  Export EndPoint Client Status from EndPoint Manager

Is there a way to export the Client status information from the EndPoint manager to a .CSV file?  I would like the similar information that you receive when you run a client status detailed report.

    Thank you for any help.

    Yes.

    Go to Monitors >> Logs

Set the log type to Computer Status report and select View Log. At the top left is the Export link so just select it.

    It will drop into CSV

Thanks Brian for the quick reply!

I tried this and it all looks good except I get an error when I try to export.  I get an error that the .CSV file cannot be downloaded from 10.11.4.6 (which is the IP for the server where the EndPoint Manager is installed.)

It states " Unable to open this Internet site.  The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found."

I will see what I can find to fix this error.

    Try the solution here:

    http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH179851

    Cause

Internet Explorer 8 includes a security setting labled "Do not save encrypted pages to disk."  The Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager monitors log displays information through Internet Explorer.  Exporting the log requires saving an encrypted page to disk.

    Solution

Disable the Internet Explorer security setting "Do not save encrypted pages to disk."

    1. Open Internet Explorer.
    2. Select the gear icon then select Internet Options.
    3. From Internet Options select the Advanced tab.
    4. In the settings view scroll down to the Security segment.
    5. Uncheck "Do not save encrypted pages to disk."
