  • 1.  Exporting and importing SEPM policies

    Posted Oct 26, 2013 04:04 PM

I am standing up two new 12.1.3 SEPM's, each with their own MSSQL DB. I currently have two older 12.1.2 SEPM's, each with their own MSSQL DB.

Question, can I export the polices from the 12.1.2 SEPM to the new 12.1.3 SEPM?

    Thank you.

Now that I asked, I though of something new and wished I had asked.

Can you move older 12.1.2 SEP clients to new SEPM pushing a client communication package from new SEPM? THen upgrade them to 12.1.3 at a later time?

    Thank you.

    Absolutely, see here:

    http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO81109

Latest 12.1 can managed all versions of 11.x and 12.1

    Hi,

You can  export from the current SEPM and import to the new SEPM.
