  • 1.  Exporting/Importing Software Resource NS 7.1

    I've made a "Detailed Export" of a Software Release from one NS 7.1 server and want to import the xml file on another NS 7.1 server but I can't find a way to import the entire Software Release (including detection rules, command lines etc).

    Is this not possible anymore in NS 7.1 ?

    Are there any errors in the log?  There's an import/export utility described in this KB which might be worth a try:

    The problem is that I can't find a way to do it in the Management Console, I can find "import package" but not the entire software release.

    Go to Settings -> Console -> Views -> Software -> Software Catalog -> Deliverable Software.  Right click on the Releases view and choose Import.

    Thanks Andrew, should have figured out that myself :)

    It would be nice to have this functionality available in Manage -> Software
