Dear all,

After I restart my server, i get the error for Extend WG Protocol Driver fail to start. And I get the answer from this forum also.

1. Open Device Manager
2. Click View > Show hidden devices
3. Expand Non-Plug and Play Drivers and uninstall the Extend WG Protocol Driver
4. Open a command prompt, and run
sc delete “wgx”
5. Reboot the system.

But I got the question
May I know what does WG protocol driver do? and also after remove this will have any impact for our server system?

The WGX driver is used for SNAC (Symantec Network Access Control). If you are not runnning that product then no need for the driver.

What SEP version are you running?
