  • 1.  External mail not abl to recvd after creating a new users in active directory.

    Dear All, Pls check my pblm n let me knwo if ne one can help me out on this. We hav symantech mail security 8200-8300 set as default policy n all, so far its working fine with the existing users, no issue. But if i creat a new mail box in exchange he can not able to recieved the messgae from external, yahoo..gmail etc...but he can send. internaly its working fine but. I check every thing from my exchange side.... no probs. If disable the Symantech mail security then its working fine. The new user can able to recv the messages. Pls let me knw the solution...

    Are you using invalid recipient feature?

     

    If yes, have you done LDAP synchronizing after creating a new user in the AD?

    Like Nitass mentioned here, do you have recipient validation enabled?  If so are you dropping messages to invalid recipiets using LDAP Sync, or rejecting messages to invalid recipients with a recipient validation source?

     

    If dropping messages using LDAP Sync, you need to make sure LDAP Syncronization and Scanner Replication occur before messages will be accepted to the new recipient. 

     

    Have you enabled the message audit logs and what is it reporting has happend to the messages?
