Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition

Hi all,

I have an error with SEP11.0.6005.562 on managed computer. I removed by mannual (not auto because an error). Now I reinstall it and it raised an error

I haved searched alot but cannot help me

(include remove live update 3.3 and reinstall, my regional setting is US not chinese)

I also attached sep_inst.txt.

Run a full scan using Norton Power Eraser

Then try installing SEP also delete 

\Program FIles\Symantec
\Program FIles\Common Files\Symantec Shared
\Docs and settings\all users\application\symantec

restart your computer then try installing again.

rather than running the setup.exe , run the msi of the installation file.

But I cannot install, after doing what you showed (even run from msi)

do u have any drives mapped to this system?

map this systems; c drive to a different system which has SEP installed with latest definition and run a scan and then try to install.

I do not map C to others. Now I have to reinstall SEP and SEPM (the old server is down).

Even I install unmanage setup , it cannot install

Do the following:

1.  Go to Add/remove prog, uninstall Liveupdate.

2. Delete all the Liveupdate folders from the computer.

3. then try installing , unmanaged.

If the operating system is either Windows 2008 R2 or Windows 7 try to install Liveupdate first and then go to Control Panel to check if it's installed successfully and then go ahead with the clients installation.
