  • 1.  Failed agent install alt iris NS 6 Console to W2K8r2 client

    Hello - Trying to install the agent on a W2k8r2 server from the NS 6 Console. Also tried manual install using aexnsc. Attempts fail, Either it appears to run, displays Downloading... in the Actions field, and then finally Finished, with a status of Failed. Or it hangs on "Starting agent download.

    After a try and /Uninstall, have also tried a /Clean, We have totally cleaned out out any folders/files, and registry entries.

    We installed agents on other servers both 2K8 and 2K3.

    Any ideas appreciated. Is there anything I should delete, or remove from the SNS / Console?

    directories that will tell you what's wrong.

    My first guess would be Windows Firewall, perhaps the server is in a different OU to the others.
