For what status codes will NetBackup automatically rerun backups? Does the backup only rerun within its scheduled window, or does it depend on other factors such as resource availability?

TIA,

It will only rerun within the backup window. If it starts before the window ends then it will continue to run after the window closes. So you have to have resources avialable since if it is Q'd it will fail. All failures should attempt per what you have setup in the policy. This is of course dependent on available resources.

Backups will attempt to rerun on any status code GREATER than 1.

older versions of Netbackup will not retry dssu migration that experienced 84's and 134's. Also parent dupes may end with status 1 while the images that were suppose to have been duplicated are cast into the sea of forgetfullness.
