Failed to get encryption password

Hi guys, I am facing a issue when I am trying to retrieve the encryption password. This SEPM ver11 was installed by the previous IT admin and he was left without leaving any information about this. And I did follow some guides as like http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/recover-dba-password or https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/articles/how-find-database-password-embedded-database. But at last I couldnt get the strings you guys mention.
Is there any mistake I had made or what should I do?

Unfortunately I don't think there is any other way to recover the DB password.

As mentioned in the othere thread (not sure which one are you following):
I am afraid if you cannot recover the password using the php.ini "trick", your only way our is to install the SEPM 12.1 from scratch and reconnect the orphaned SEP clients using either sylink replacer tool or by replacing the communications settings on them:
