Has anyone else run into this?
We installed Symantec Mail Security 6.0.3 on our new Windows 2008 Server Standard box running Exchange 2007. We got an error during install and the install aborted, leaving the "sort of" installed Mail Security on. So we uninstalled Mail Security... we left and then the next morning Exchange was down. I got the following error:
The Microsoft Exchange Active Directory Topology Service service terminated with service-specific error 2147942414 (0x8007000E).
The Exchange System Attendant was stuck on "Starting...". We used the following Microsoft article to get it going again:

So... how do we make this work without killing Exchange '07? Any ideas?
