Failing image
Created: 29 Nov 2012 | 5 comments
I have an image that I try to deploy but says it fails because it was not enough disk space but it has plenty disk space. It says I have to add some switches. I was wondering do any of you have any idea what the attached file means or how to perform this action. It always stop at 82%.

Hello,
What is the destination disk size?
Have you tried passing -NTEXACT switch in commandline option from advance settings of task?
Thanks,
Sachin
The destination hardrive is 500GBs.
I haven't tried that switch but I just put it in the job but now I am having a hard time trying to get altiris to image it because It wont initial deploy. Its like its still in the database but I dont see it no where.
The ghosterr.txt shows:
Last LFO Error : HTTP Result: 404, SSL error: 0Last LFO Error Path :
Full Path : http://dhs-altiris-3:80/dhs-altiris-5/dhs-a001.ghs
The 404 or Not Found error message is a HTTP standard response code indicating that the client was able to communicate with the server, but the server could not find what was requested.
Which means either there was some connection issue while accessing the .ghs file or it is not available there. Please try re -running the same task.
Were you able to deploy the same image on any other client?
Thanks,
Sachin
I tried other clients but the same thing happened. I also tried to upload the image again.
Ok. Then can you check if dhs-a001.ghs is present, accessible & valid. Also check the image integrity of dhs-a001.gho.
Thanks,
Sachin
