Deployment Solution

The combination of a DS 6.9 SP1 Build 355 with VISTA SP1 and DAgent 6.9.356 x86 leads to the following error:
- DS Remote Control (Because Carbon Copy is not supported under VISTA, Remote Control is mandatory):
o This is only possible, when the user is logged in. Otherwise, there is nothing visible in the window (The program is waiting until a client is accepting the connection.) There are no active buttons to choose from.
o When the computer is locked, the buttons turn to active, but there is nothing visible in the window. Again, the program is waiting until a client is accepting the connection.
o When a user is logged in, Remote Control is working properly. When the user is logging of, the Remote Control Console is closing.
o Sometimes, Remote Control can open a connection, but in the console is a black screen appearing.
- Status Client-Icon in DS
o When a computer is starting, in DS appears a blue Client-Icon. This means normal function. If a user is logging on, the icon isn’t changing.
o If I restart the DAgent Service on the client, the Client-Icon in DS changes to „Logged-in“.
- Carbon Copy
o Is not supported under VISTA. Is there an alternative to NS Console 6.5 SP3 R8 in planning? (e.g. PC-Anywhere?)

Hello,

NS 6.0.6074 R9 is out and it is only Carbon Copy. What we have so far it is Carbon Copy for XP and pcAnywhere for Vista as a Stanalone client but we have few Vista (10-15 maximum)
