faulting application Beremote.exe v. 14.0.1798.0

We have a problem with one of our2008 R2 servers, wich act as a host to several Hyper-V guests.

Backup starts, but after a while it fails because the backup exec agent crashes.

This is the info in the eventlog on the Hyper-V host:

We have other R2 servers which also act as hyper-v hosts, and backup there runs fine.
Any ideas?

Would reccommend you to upgrade to BE 2010 R3 and Run Live update.

I remeber there was known  issue  with GRt backup causing the remote agent to crash but was for the AVVI agent and this issue was fixed in 2010 r3 with some hotfix .

I would recommend opening up a support case for this so we can take a better look at the issue.

We are using an NFR license to verify this product before we buy it or reccomend it to our customers. Can we open a support case on that license?

I'm honestly not sure, I would talk with your sales rep or account manager to see if they can get a case opened for you.
