  • 1.  FAulting application error on new build

    Upgraded to 7.5 hf3 and as per usual got a load of problems. Decided to create a new Win7 image using vmware.

    Installed Win7 SP1 & office 2010. PAtch management installed some updates. now when I reboot the agent crashes.

    Anyone any idea!

    WIndows shouild have created the mini-dump files when AeXNSAgentHostSurrogate32.exe crashed. Could you please look for them and send them to me? I then will be able to advise you something if this problem has been addressed in some pointfix or hotfix already.

    The files could be somewhere in C:\Users\All Users\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportQueue

    Event log usually have records about the dump files as well.

     

    In the worst case open WIndows console, go to the root of your system drive and run "dir /s *.hdmp". There can be both MDMP and HDMP files in the same folder as well asl some text files. Please archive and send them to me.
