  • 1.  feature parity between Altiris 6.9 sp2 and sp5 MR1

    Hi All,

    I just want to know the feature parity between the altiris 6.9 sp2 to 6.9 sp5 MR1.

    Can any one suggest me what i need to Test after i have upgraded to sp5 MR1?

    If any one is having Test cases for the sp2, please do share with me.

    I don't know of any lost functionality.  You should test whatever is important to your organization.

    Our main reason for upgrading was for better Windows 7 support. We went from 6.9 no SP to SP4 about a year ago. SP5 offers very little over what SP4 gave us so we have stayed on SP4. Other than that, everything else was fairly transparent.

    Test first, but I see no reason to not upgrade.
