Yes we still do have a few customers using the excellent helpdesk 6 from Altiris !

Of course, can't escalate any incident to Symantec support about this EOL product.

That's why we ask for community your help

On the WINUSER console only, all display correctly, user well identified.

But when click on "Create a new incident"

The Altiris server logs seems showinf normal operation, not error or warning, and answer go back to client...

Local Windows logs on client do not show anything wrong :(

Investigating IIS logs, the logs are exactly if all was OK like others computers correctly creating new ticket !

• Yes: This issue only on a few computers (Hope not a viral planned obsolescence ;-)
• No: any user reproduce the same issue on those same 'faulting' few computers
• Yes: If the faulting user is using another OK computer (the same network) it works !
• (Yes we reboot, same issue)
• Yes: I ask to use Firefox or Chrome instead of IE, and same error !!!

So we do have a workaround: reformat computers and reinstall it...

But it is not a "Solution" !!

We test also the super flush TCP:

Well, I am a pretty stuned this issue: I can ask for capturing Wireshark a bad and a good to compare, but pretty sure to see nothing different from network side.

The computer is break, for all user, no idea where and how !!!!

If we use the WORKER console instead of WINUSER (for those having Worker role), we can create/edit ticket without issues.

5 computers 3 different sites got this issue, and same user another computer same site do not get any error.

Issue is local machine, reproduce each time, any user.

Checked the reverse DNS, 

nslookup 'altiris-srv' result correct IP, nslookup this IP results correct name...

I do ask for getting the "Wireshark" captured data, comparing an Ethernet transactions tihout error, to the one with error. Wait for them.
