Hi,

I have few queries

Currently we have Import the Server OU to SEPM console.. What happen If we delete the OU from the SEPM console.. Still client will report to SEPM, if YES, whether all clients moved to default group or any other group?

Recently we have upgrade the SEPM from 11.0.6 to 12.1 RU1, I’ve backup all the cert and database,

What happen if we restore the old server certificate after upgrading the SEPM from older to newer?

Yes, all the clients would

Yes, all the clients would come back in the default group.

You don't have to restore the certificates while doing the upgrade, It would do that job on its own.

Yes the clients would move to

Yes the clients would move to default group but as best practise its good if you manually move all the clients to a group before you delete the OU.

During the upgrade its not needed to restore the certificate, but by any chance if the upgrade fails and in case if you are doing the disaster recovery then restoring the old certifcate will make all the clients report to the new SEPM.

If You restore the Old

If You restore the Old certificates then all the Clients will satrt reporting to that SEPM, so be concious while doing that.

Once you remove the OU then Clients will move to Default GRoup
