The File Analyzer is used to set up custom file type detection instead of gathering information for Applicaiton Monitoring. The information you want is in the metadata on the executable. To find that data right click on the executable and select properties. Once there select the details tab. That tab will have all of the available attributes you can use. An example is attached.

    DLP Enthusiast..

Read the previous post.. the File Type Analyzer will not help you with creating a new Application Monitoring profile.

You need to use the GetAppInfo.exe program. It will show you the Binray name and other information needed to create a new Application for the Endpoint to monitor.

This application is included in the AgentInstaller zip file and is part of the tools.

I have attached it here for you to use.

    Hope this makes sense.

If this solves your questions please marked as solved.
