Hello,

I'm looking for the best file to check on a SEP 12.x client in order to have its last VDefs files.

I found C:\ProgramData\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\CurrentVersion\Data\Definitions\VirusDefs\definfo.dat.

Is it the right way or is there a better one ?

Thanks in advance for your help

Regards

It's either that file or write a script to pull the info from the registry

Hello,

I agree with the above comment.

Correct, you can either check the GUI of SEP client, check it via registry or via definfo.dat file.

Hope that helps!!
