File / Norton-Engine CCSVCHST.EXE mostly blocks main storage after about 15 min of my Lap (XP) by increasing the size of service (user SYSTEM in main storage) from assumed usually about 10-15 K up to 200 K thus using 60% of main storage giving about 100 % together with other system or application services. After all only hard boot can open the Lap again; A removal and new installation of NIS11 operated together with Norton hotline never got any solution. Maybe BLOODHOUND.LASTSECTORS or BLOODHOUND.TD (-virus ?) can disturb here by stopping the Norton IS scan. External virus scan tools haven't shown any better result - no virus has been detected; Who can bring a solution beside format c: ?    Thanks a lot in advance

Try running the Norton Power Eraser Tool. It is designed to detect and remove threats that traditional AV cannot.

For Norton related issues, you should post in the Norton Community. There are experts with Norton 360 and NIS in that forum.

    Hello smd74m,

Did Norton Power Eraser solve the issue? What did it detect?

Do you see Bloodhound.LastSectors or Bloodhound.TD in NIS11's History?

Please help me, i think ive been hacked or something. I think i was on my browser or just closing it to shut down computer when everything went haywire. Viruses were detected, windows said its experiencing a seripus error then all of a sudden I got a blue screen. My memory is vague. After the blue screen, the computer restarted, and it didnt load. So I then i got it to load somehow and everything was slow, services.exe dominating CPU, to high 90 %. So i scanned the computer got viruses with several software and it removed many worms etc. However when i restarted the computer the main issue was how extremely slow eveverything is. I suspect ive been hacked and everything I do is being logged thus computer is slow. Task manager says services.exe is taking all of CPU. What does this mean? How can I fix this? When I search norton history there are things such as "Bloodhound.TD" and "200 new firewall rules" What can I do? Norton Power Saver after a while of scanning says it stops scanning and says it cannot connect to norton servers. Please Help

@ Nortonnine, What version of Norton are you running. Try running the Norton Recovery tool on your system. You can download the tool from here - http://bit.ly/Nortonbootrecoverytool
