I recently came into work and my computer had installed updates during the night and my SEP Client had errors.  I restarted the machine, but still the same errors.  I uninstalled all downloads/updates and restarted.  Still the same error.  I uninstalled SEP, restarted, reinstalled, and restarted -  still the same error.  Please help.  The File System Autoprotect is malfunctioning.  I don't know what else to try.

    Hello,

In the AV policy, make sure the there is a check in the check box and lock icon is closed for each one of these.

    1) Download Insight

    2) Proactive Threat Protection (SONAR)

    3) Auto-Protect

The Standard Symantec SBS AV Policy does not have the Lock boxes locked.

Once these features are Locked and Policies are assigned to the groups, you should not face these issues.

    Check these Screenshot below:

    Hope that helps!!
