  • 1.  File transfer of large files

    We have course content that we manually transfer to over 1200 locations.  I need to automate this process and we were going to look at Altiris as a possible solution but we do have a few questions since I am not familiar with the Altiris Suite:

    • What application is used to transfer files on a schedule?
    • Does the application use something similar to BITS?
    • If you are using the application today, what is the success rate?

    Are you trying to send the files to desktops? Would they all be in the same package or multiple packages?
