hi all,

if i cant connect with the fileconnect to download the needed file.

can symantec provide the needs of the client?

for example: i need CPU 2013. does anyone can give me the file for patching?

please open a support case, the TSE should be able to provide you patch/softwre to download.

but the support said, that they cannot provide. only th customer can download the neede file.

 

thank you, it would be better if you can help me on this, coz i have an urgent problem.

hi

thank you for concern, in symantec.com? is there any available to download the CPU patch for april?

because this is urgent, my support cannot provide the download. client also does not want to gve the serial due to their security. they push,the support to give the needed file. but support cant provide.

Hi,

But you have to call Symantec Tech Support team only or either create a case for the same.

Otherwise you can download it with your serial number.

hi,

client doesnt gve the serial. so support need to provide this.

No. Tech support is not obliged to give you the file if you do not have the serial number.  If your client does not give you the serial number, then they cannot expect you to get the file.

Then ask your superwiser for the same.

otherwise you will mot able to download the required file without serial number.

If you have a login ID in Symaccount then try to create a case with Symantec support team.
