How it works in 7.5 SP1 release:
1. Admin1 account from "Symantec Administrators" role has created a own new "Filter1"
Result: All accounts from different roles, who has an access to filters, by default will see this new "Filter1"
2. Admin1 account from "Symantec Administrators" role made "Filter1" hidden to do not show it.
Result: Only Admin1 account will doesn't see this "Filter1", but all other accounts from different roles will still see this "Filter1".
Summary:
- Hide/Show filters works like a personalization settings per account and not for all accounts from same role or from other roles as well.
Seems like the only way to make appropriate filter hidden for all other accounts from different roles, is to change a "Security" settings on this "Filter" for required "Roles", but as result these down level roles will never see this "Filter" in SMP Console, until you change security settings back to see this "Filter" for them.
