    Hey guys,

    Does anyone have some insight on this problem i've been getting.

    I received an email from process-cleanup@domain.com

     


    filter-hub crashed on signal 11 on server.domain.com exit code: 0x008B

     

    Program output:

    Warning: recursive semaphore lock detected! Warning:recursive semaphore lock detected! Warning: recursive semaphore lock detected!

    Warning: recursive semaphore lock detected! Warning:recursive semaphore lock detected!

     

    Storing data in/data/scanner/jobs/filter-hub/2008.11.03-15.24.55


     

     Any ideas what error this is and how i can resolve it?

    I am running symantec appliance 8300 series version 7.6.1-14

    Hi guys, I found the same error in my 8240 appliance that snoopy comments, in this case the software is the last version. If anybody has the solution, please give us the solution, this error appears yesterday.

    I,

    version 7.6.1.7, i had the same problem:

     

    "filter-hub crashed on signal 11 on ...... exit code: 0x008B"

     

    I found several mistakes in my appliance 8360 series:

     

     - PID 26802 \'filter-hub\' has died, terminated on signal 11 (0x008B)

     - The engine was unable to be kicked

     - kicker: can not open filter-hub pid file /data/scanner/jobs/filter-hub/filter-hub.pid: No such file or directory

    Just got the same error...

     

    filter-hub crashed on signal 9 on server.domain.local exit code: 0x0009

     

    Program output:

    Warning: recursive semaphore lock detected!

     

    Storing data in /data/scanner/jobs/filter-hub/2008.12.09-13.23.51

     

    followed by a notification that the FILTER-HUB service was restarted after an improper shutdown. I seem to still be sending/receiving email, but the dashboard summary of inbound mail is not showing any messages received since getting the error. I'm on Brightmail Gateway version 7.7.0-17. Anyone have any insight into what this is?
