Endpoint Protection

Running SEPM 11.0.40.14.26. Can someone tell me wher to look for the info to tell me the different versions. In other words I want to upgrade to the latest but I need to make sure this is at least MR1....

Also when I run SEP on the same box asSEPM (Endpoint Manager) the CPU for SEP.EXE take over the box .. kills it. I'm hoping loading the latest version of both gets it under control.

To download the file from fileconnect web site you wil need a Serial number that startes with a M and then some numbers like "MXXXXXXXXXX ".

You can install the SEP client on the same box where you have SEPM. Latest version i.e MR4 MP2 will help you but try to install only Antivirus & Anti spyware feature of the client.

U can export a package with antivirus and antispyware protection only from the manager and install it in the server.
Other features reduce the server performance little bit..

the version number of what I am runign - is it ? MR1, pervious MR1?  - This is waht it says on installing MR2.... This is why I'm trying to fogure out if what I have is acutally MR1 or better.

States I need to be at least MR4 - so is my version 11.0.4014.26 ...MR1 MR4 or what?

Your version is MR4MP1 and MR4MP2 can be installed over MR4MP1( 11,0.4014,26).
You do not have MR1
