  • 1.  Firewall Blocking Link Layer Topology Discovery (LLTD)

    If I map the network in Vista (or Windows 7) with the firewall enabled, I can only see a switch, gateway and the internet. If I disable the firewall off I can then see the rest of the network. Is there a rule I can create to allow Link Layer Topology Discovery (LLTD) to operate normally?

    Add a rule to allow Ethernet type 0x88D9
