    Posted Dec 06, 2011 08:45 AM

    Hello,

I installed a new internet USB to one computer then connect to internet succefully but I cannot browse or ping any website , when I disable firewall the internet works normally , I noticed on the client log that the rule is block all .

I don't know why the symantec block the traffic from the new USB vodafone although the old version of vodafone USB stick works properly .

    any suggestion please

    thanks

    Hello,

Could you check if there are any Application and Device Control Policy if set??

    OR

Check the Traffic Logs / Packet Logs from the SEP client on the machine if anything being blocked.

If there is any traffic / packets being blocked, then create a Rule for the same.

    Hope that helps!!

    Hi.

Are you using SEP version 12.1 or 12.0?

check if you have created a rule in the Firewall?

check what rules in the NTP makes the issue go away.

You may check if your location changes when you try to surf over your USB device.
