    Hi,

I have SEPM 12.1.4 running in my environment of 3500+ Endpoints. The previous SEP Administrator didn't installed SEP Firewall component on Endpoints. Now there is requirement from Management to enable Firewall components on all the Endpoints.

What are the options available through which i can now install and enable Firewall components on Endpoints? Which one is the best and most optimal among them?

    Thanks.

You can add the firewall component to your existing feature set, see here:

Add or remove features to existing Endpoint Protection clients

A reboot is needed to complete the firewall install.

Once that's done then you need to apply a firewall policy to your client groups.

In addition to what ℬrίαη has posted, this is a good time for you to update the Install Package to the latest version (12.1.6 MP4) as there are some improvments & fixes with the SEP client including the Firewall component.
