I have checked and found this http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=HOWTO73384&profileURL=https%3A%2F%2Fsymaccount-profile.symantec.com%2FSSO%2Findex.jsp%3FssoID%3D135152500607153qhv5iL28E9Bk3PueJ2tU81gUp885BRkRpnE

Firewall ports requirement for has a long list and i found that some ports may not be required and there isnt indicated clearly the source and destination .

Below is the ports i think is required for remote agent backup . if there any more ports required?

Backup Exec Agent Browser (process=benetns.exe)

6101

TCP

Backup Exec Agent for Windows (process=beremote.exe)

10000

All the ports mentioned the article are required for communication with Various Agents and Options. For the 2 that you have mentioned above

Backup Exec Agent Browser (process=benetns.exe) is service on the Media Server which will listen on 6101

Backup Exec Agent for Windows (process=beremote.exe) needs to be able to communicate on port 10000 both ways on the Media Server and on any remote server that has a Remote Agent installed. Apart from this port Symantec recommends that you use a range of 25 ports for the remote computer' at te minumum. Here is a technote for that -
