Folders set to do not archive

This issue has been solved. See solution.

HI, I'm using EV10, Outlook 2010, Exchange2010.  In Outlook you can right-click a folder and go to properties and see the EV tab (we have this enabled in the polcy).  Here you can change retention categories and whatever else on folders.  One of the options is to set "Do not archive this folder".  If a user selects this then that folder won't be archived, but is there a way to determine who has used this option?  Is there something in a log somewhere or a utility that can be run to see if this is set?  While we want users to be able to set retention categories, we don't actually want them to disable archiving for anything.

Thanks.

Hi,

No, there is no way telling out the box.  You could write something to trawl your mailboxes searching for hidden messages and report back.
