  • 1.  Force a client policy update

    How can one force a Client Policy Update remotely?

    It is my understanding a Tickle Packet will do this also (tested this does not appear to be true).  Any task I guess would force this but what task do you recommend running a script basically does nothing?

     

    Please give me your suggestions on how you would force a client policy update on say 200 machines.

    There is an "Update Configuration" task ... that's yours.

    It is a core task type (belongs to the platform, not any solution).

    Whenever you create, or edit a task, or job you can add an "update configuration" task.

    You dont have to use the sample job.

    Try to create a "new->client task" to see all available task types from your system.

    Alternatively I think RAADv2 can do this -- available from the support site.
