  • 1.  Forgot Password does not work (v.12.1.5)

    Hi Experts !

    Can someone help me how to reset forgotten password, as mentioned in the forum I did not receive any email. Also I verified the mailConfig.properties everything is fine.

    Please help me on this what should I do next ?

    Call support. They have a tool that can get this fixed for you.

    Hi Alfire,

     

    I have the Resetpass.bat which is a batch file used to reset the defualt admin password. if you need it just PM me, I will share the file in text format which you can then change it to batch file and then execute it to change the password.

    Glad to know issue has been resolved however just to update you Symantec no longer supports the resetpass.bat script. In versions 12.1 RU1 MP1 (12.1.1.1) and later, the script has not been tested and may cause damage to Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager or the database.
