Hi.

I have EV7 SP1, outlook 2003.

If I don't use "cached exchange mode", It always works , even offline vault as well.

When I use "cached exchange mode", changing to offline and restarting outlook,

All EV icons are now changed to unread mailbox icon. Of course, Offline vault doesn't work.

Once I have the problem on offline, When I change back to online, I always have to clear form cache, after then, online works.

To work around this , I have to copy the exchange form to personal form. Then, everything works no matther it is online or offline.

I suspect the organisation form cache with offline doesn't work at all. I have to change to online to syn again,

And then, once I change to offline, the same things. It doesn't work.

Pls help me.

Thanks.

Hi,

We've had some forms problems to. Our problem begun after installing Service Pack 2 on our Windows XP clients. After that some people couldn't access their archived mails via the shortcut in Outlook, unless they rebboted, then they could use the shortcuts until they logged out once. Using the search tool worked though.

We opened a case both with Symantec and with Microsoft and after a while we got a hotfix from Microsoft. The problem were adressed to the Windows XP host, it experienced problems with unloading the users profile in the registry.

The hotfix don't seem to be official yet, but it is more than six month old now, it's created the 22:nd of November 2006.

If you think it may help you I will be happy to provide you with the hotfix number so that you can request it from MS.
