    my :

    winXP sp2 x32, %windir%=e:\windows

+ installing : symantec endpoint protection

how can i format disk ? => goto windows explorer, right click the disk => format.

including using with norton partition magic,

after sooo many restarting windows, i still cant format another disk/partition (d,f,g, etc),

how can i format disk ? if "symantec endpoint protection" installed ?

it says : windows cant format this drive. quit any disk utilities or other program that using this drive ...

if i UNinstall (and restart) => format success (i can format another disk) ...

is this the plus point between SEP and NAV/NIS ? if yes ... how can i disable that future (prevent from formating) ?

It shouldn't matter if SEP is installed when trying to format...have you disabled SEP to confirm it is the cause?

    thank u for reply,

im sorry ... my english is poor ...

    SEP v = 12.1.1

    my %systemdrive% = e:

    usergrups = administrators

    name, total = administrator, 1

    1. i can format another disk/partition (d:, f: , g: )  via windows explorer / cmd or norton partition magic

    2. SEP installed, restart os, then goto windows explorer , format disk, what i've got :

"windows cant format this drive. quit any disk utilities or other program that using this drive ..."

    3. how to format disk in windows explorer ?

    4. uninstall SEP, restart.

    5. goto windows explorer, format another disk, format succed/complete.

    6. it looks like SEP halt any formating disk activity.

how to format disk if igot situation like that ? or what should i do to SEP ?

have you disabled SEP to confirm it is the cause?

ive tried to disable auto protect, but still got a message like that

    now downloading sep 12.1.2
