This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hi all,

I am using WPS 7 SP2, and I need build an installer which contains .NET 4 assembly files.

When I add these files (using Installation Expert), WPS can't detect the version of them. So there are no rows populated in MSIAssemblyName table.

So, when I run this installer, I get error 2765. Please help me.

And another question: why must have Assembly tables for .NET Assembly?

Thanks.

I want to know WPS 7 SP2

I want to know WPS 7 SP2 support .NET Framework 4.0 or no. When I add a .NET 4.0 Assembly, WPS can't populate rows in MsiAssemblyName table. I must do it manually? Thanks.

Tools/Options/.NET assemblies

Tools/Options/.NET assemblies - what have you set it to ?

WPS7 SP2 was released probably 3 years before .NET framework 4, so you will have to evaluate whether or not there is support for .NET4 once you have checked your configuration settings for the Windows Installer Editor.
