For the past 6 to 8 months we have an environment which is experiencing frequent (1-3 times/week) "corrupted" word/excel files using Netshare.
The environment is Symantec Encryption Desktop 10.3 on all workstations and the Management Server is version 3.3.2 MP12 (Build 21436). All files are located on one file server, at the same location as the workstations.
End-users are reporting that after making revisions earlier in the day, or a previous day - subsequent attempts to open a file are unsuccessful as it opens but is unreadable, and Word/Excel reports that the file is "corrupt" and unusable. It doesn't happen every time, or with any trends - it happens 1-3 times per week (user base of about 50 people).
We contacted PGP support with no results and our Client is becoming impatient while we search for a fix.
