FSA Archiving - archiving File server where File server is a Domain Controller, however in domain controller there is no local administrator's group. Customer is not willing to add EV service account into Domain Admins group. Is there any workaround to this? Any other minimum permissions we can assign?

Ah sorry, just ignore this question, I think EVSVC needs to be a member of Domain Controller's Built it Administrator's group.
Yes, Builtin\Administrators is like "local admin" for all domain controllers

Customer doesn’t want the service account added to builtin\administrators. Is there any way we could install the client using a different account (such as one of our domain admins ones) then delegate full control over the file system to the EV service account?
As of this time this functionality is currently unavailable and at present it is still necessary to add the VSA account to the builtin admin group on Domain controllers.

If we choose to use internet sortcut and not palceholder shortcut, and give full access to share would it work then? I don't see any reason for this not to work!
