Are you talking about monitoring changes to the data in the database, or monitoring configuration changes to the SQL Server?

SCSP cannot monitor changes to data in the database, but if a log is generated in the process of changing configuration settings in SQL, then SCSP can read that log and send an event when it occurrs.

ramling p;

Can you describe in a little more detail what you would like to monitor?  What (specifically) kinds of modifications are you hoping to track?

Chuck;  FTP server... not SQL laugh

Not sure why I read that as SQL . . . . I'll have to make an eye appointment. blush

Yes, we can monitor files/directories for changes, creation of files, and deletion of files.  We can also log when someone makes a connection on TCP 21/22.

What Chuck said.

This so so do-able.  Look at the detection policies.  Most (if not all) of what you're looking to do can be found there

Good luck!.
