My company is implementing a full disk encryption policy, however the current supported installers are for Windows and Mac only.   I use Linux as my development system.   I see that Symantec offers PGP for linux, but I'm unclear as to whether this will allow the system to report back to a central server, like the Windows/Mac PGP products.

    Could someone from Symantec confirm?

You get logging and status messages sent to the server, and recovery using a WDRT (Whole Disk Recovery Token) sent from your device to Universal.

For specific information, see the user's guide:  http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=DOC4155

    Regards,

When do you plan on offering support for Linux Mint (ver 11 here)?

I don't know the answer to that question, sorry.  I'll ping someone from Product Management to see there is an answer to that question, and if the answer can be shared publicly.
