    Symantec Endpoint Encryption Full Disk does NOT support Windows 8.  You can subscribe to the following article to be notified when it changes:

    Symantec Encryption Desktop (formerly PGP Desktop) supports Windows 8.  See the following article for more details:

    I think sometimes the renamed Encryption Desktop causes confusion.  SEE FD is not supported for Windows 8, though it is on the roadmap for the product in an upcoming release.

    Unfortunately, we don't have a specific date for release of that feature.  It will all depend on when engineering implements the code changes, an whether or not it passes QA.  I do know that it has been something they are actively working on, and the hope is that it should be within the next few months.
