Hi.. I'm trying to restore of Debian 5 machine which is supported by Nb 6.5.4.
During restore I have kernel panic because NB is trying to overwrite some files used by the kernel.

Which files should be skipped on Debian to restore full backup of entire system without issues ?

Thx for any info..

Possible work around

Do you have two disks in the machine in a mirror, if you do, you could split the mirror on the disks, restore to the spare, pull the primary out and boot up with the newly restored spare, then re-mirror the former primrary.
