Full Scan Status on SEPM 11.0.62005.672
Created: 09 Mar 2011 | 5 comments
Greetings all
I started a full scan in all clients in my company. For how long will that full scan be active? Will it expire eventually? My technicians are trouble shooting the machines that failed the scan, and I am wondering if after they repair the client on those workstation if the full scan will continue or re-start as needed on those machines.
Thanks in advance
Ray

Scan will be stored locally
Scan will be stored locally in he client and will get triggered when it met the shedule time as per the local system time.If you repair SEP client it will consider the scheduled scan as a missed scan event(If Missed schedule scan is enabled) and will start scanning...

Thanks for your replay
Thanks for your replay folks,
This was not a scheduled scan, I just right clicked on the group and selected run command on clients. Will that make a difference?
hi
that would run as admin defined scan
you can kill the scan by killing the rtvscan.exe from the task manager.

When the policy is applied on
When the policy is applied on to client, the scan time is stored on client system. Even after repair of the system if the policy remains the configurations will be saved on system.
Cheers!
