Hello,

I installed one Ghost client remotely from Ghost console to a PC with no problems. Then tried second PC. Installer says OK and I can see that the files appear in the destination computers program files BUT the Ghost client never appears to the ghost console!!! There has not been any network changes in between but I deleted the default Machine Group Container from Ghost Console. Can this cause this? How to make it all good again? Thanks.

PS. I tried to recreate the Default Container and re-remote-install client but it did not work

PC's are Acer One Pro

PC's are Acer One Pro minilaptops with WinXP SP3. Ghost is a Ghost Solution Suite 1.1 and network is a standard TCP/IP 1Gb LAN with one C category private subnet.

The network connection works. I can see that the client files are copied to the destination computer. Also the remote installer log says all good. I can also manually un-install Ghost client from XP's Add/remove programs. Clients just dont appear to Ghost Console!!!

I also tried un-installing and re-installing Ghost Server and renaming the destination PC and re-installing Ghost client after that but no help there...

Also. If I install G client

Also. If I install G client to other workstation it appears to G console. So it seems that there's something wrong with the client PC that was already in the console but was deleted from there.
