Workflow Soluiton

I am in the process of creating a Request workflow that uses a form to collect data and then submit the request, when I Debug the project the form gets poulated with the Current User from the "Get Current User" component however, when I publish the workflow and either launch from the server or an external system the Current User field get poulated with "NETWORK SERVICE" guess I have missed something fundamental, can anybody point me in the right direction

That has now returned OK however, it has the domain name as a prefix i.e. SERVER\Dazza what is the best way to strip out the SERVER\ ?
